In the village of Šentjošt above Horjul, on a small hillock in the midst of the Polhov Gradec hills, stands one of the best known and highly-rated restaurants in Slovenia – Gostišče Grič. It is here that one of Slovenia's most imaginative culinary masters, the young chef Luka Košir, creates culinary wonders and calmly explains that, for example, you won't find tomatoes on the menu during winter. The 'only' constant that guests can expect at Gostišče Grič, in addition to gourmet cuisine, is seasonal, local and traceable food, and the fact that the majority of the food comes to plates directly from the restaurant's garden or nearby forests and meadows. A unique culinary experience which is a blend of the generosity of nature and human creativity.
